Mission

Practical Firearms Education is dedicated to educating and training individuals on firearm safety, proper firearm handling, shooting fundamentals and home defense principles. Through practical education to include audiovisual presentations and live practice, participants will be better prepared to handle their firearm of choice and will understand what it means to use a firearm for self defense purposes.

 

Instructor

Patrick began his firearms education at a young age starting with a BB gun. After learning the fundamentals from his father using a BB gun, Patrick went on to complete the Delaware Hunter Safety program and began handling shotguns and .22 rifles. As time passed and he grew older pistols were introduced. Upon turning 18 and 21 respectively Patrick purchased his first rifle and handgun.

From 2010-2016 Patrick served in the United States Army Reserves and left service as a Sergeant. Since then, he has completed multiple training courses and has taken the NRA Basic Pistol Course and the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Certification course.

As an Educator and Coach for the past 10 years Patrick felt that he should take the step into teaching others how to safely and properly handle firearms. Seeing millions of new firearms owners over the past several years and knowing that education is a necessity to keep people safe, he developed Practical Firearms Training.
