New Jersey Concealed Carry Course
USCCA Concealed Carry Curriculum
This course is a USCCA accredited course and is taught to theirs and Practical Firearms Education LLC standards.

This course is designed for those individuals who already possess their NJ FID card and currently possess a pistol that they intend on carrying concealed.

In this course we will be covering:

-Developing a Personal Protection Plan
-Self Defense Firearms Basics
-Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
-The Legal Use of Force
-Violent Encounters and The Aftermath
-Gears and Gadgets
-Basic and Advanced Skills

After the classroom portion you will complete a qualification shoot that is comparable to the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice HQC-2 course of fire. Distances range from 3 yards to 25 yards. You must place 40/50 rounds on an FBI Q silhouette target to qualify. Throughout the shooting qualification you must demonstrate proper firearms handling and safety.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a form letter and certificate to submit to your local PD or NJSP location (depending upon where you live.)

What to Bring:
-Note taking materials
-Water/Beverage
-Light lunch
-Handgun that will be used for concealed carry
-Minimum of two magazines
-100 rounds of ammunition
-Eye and ear protection
-Long pants
-Closed toed shoes
